The first week was a lot of walking around Liverpool in a tight group and figuring out where we were. Pretty much all of us commented on this amazing stairwell attached to the gym that will be turned into luxury condo/office/etc. England has a special place in my heart for its casual placement of Brutalist architecture. You are walking around in a sea of early 1900s architecture when something like this rises in the middle. You should see the Queen Elizabeth courts to the right of this little gem, brutal.

Favorite Staircase
